Banca Intesa, a member of international group Intesa Sanpaolo, has won the Friend of the Family 2023 award in the large companies category granted by the Ministry of Family Welfare and Demography and the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (PKS).

The award comes as a recognition for a number of programs and projects Banca Intesa has been carrying out aiming to improve the welfare of its employees and their families, including flexible working hours, health insurance benefits, support system for new parents and their babies, as well as numerous initiatives dedicated to healthy habits as well ass physical, mental and emotional well-being of the employees. In addition, the bank provides scholarship programs for the children of its employees, options to study abroad, as well as free attendance of sports camps and advanced training courses.

While recognizing the importance of the work-parenthood link, we are building a corporate culture that supports family, embraces the needs of its employees and provide them with options to achieve a healthy and sustainable work-life balance as a prerequisite for career success and personal fulfilment and happiness,” Ivana Todorović, Head of HR and Organization at Banca Intesa said at the award ceremony.

A total of 24 companies applied for the Friend of the Family 2023 award – 11 large companies, 11 SMEs and two public enterprises. Public vote lasted from July 19 to August 15 on the initiative’s official website, while an expert jury, the public and company employees voted for the winners.
